For the Materials Science Group, in the Laboratory for Condensed Matter, we are looking for a
Postdoctoral Fellow – innovative ore processing
Your tasks
You will conduct both basic and applied research based on powder diffraction methods, your main tasks are:
- Research on mechanochemical activation of phosphate ores
- Develop and improve existing data pipeline at the ADDAMS beamline, with a focus on combined XRD and XRF workflows, particularly for industrial applications
- Assist beamline users
- Publish research results and present them at relevant scientific meetings and conferences
Your profile
- PhD degree in Geology, Material Science, or a related field
- Hands on experience with diffraction methods XRD, in particular with powder diffraction, and possibly X-ray fluorescence XRF
- Experience with synchrotron experiments is an advantage
- Strong computing skills, being able to program in Python
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
